American television personality and bounty hunter Duane Chapman and his former wife Beth Chapmans relationship spanned for several decades, with the pair supporting each other and being a massive inspiration to numerous young couples.
Just like every marriage is faced with its own challenges, Duane and Beths union was not perfect. Their marriage was filled with ups and downs, and they went through different situations together, from being married to other people to enduring substance abuse and issues with the law.

The bounty hunter and his late wife first met in 1998, and two years later, they became romantically involved. Duane and Beth continued their romance for a very long time, and after six years, they took their relationship a step further by walking down the aisle.
Although they were head over heels in love with each other, the television personality and his late wife soon faced the most troubling experience of their lives. In 2017, Beth made a shocking revelation that she had been diagnosed with stage II throat cancer.
In a letter to her friends, Beth said she had experienced challenges she never saw coming, but the news of her diagnosis was a test she regarded as serious.
According to the star, the doctors broke the sad news to her after she had suffered a “nagging cough” for months.
Beth had a T2 tumor in her throat, which was restricting her breathing. She was advised to go for immediate treatment and surgery before her health condition got worse.
Despite the tumor in her throat, Duanes wife vowed to remain positive. Beth promised to fight every step of the way and never let cancer beat her.
According to her, Duane and their children were counting on her. She also showed gratitude to her family and friends for their support.
Sadly, as months passed, Beths condition grew worse, and on June 22, 2019, she was admitted to Hawaii Queens Medical Center. After her admission, Duanes wife was put in a medically induced coma.
June 26, 2019, was a sad day for Duane and their family as she finally lost the battle to cancer at age 51. It was a devastating experience for the reality TV star. Two weeks after his wifes death, Duane opened up about how he was coping mentally and physically.
Duane said he had lost 17 pounds as he was struggling with the loss of appetite. He made it known that he was a cry baby, and Beths death made him cry uncontrollably. However, he had to “man up,” as many were depending on him.
The icon assured his fans he would never commit suicide, noting that he was at peace with his time on Earth. Beth received tons of love and tributes from fans and loved ones after her death.
A memorial was held in her honor at her favorite place — Fort DeRussy Beach in Waikiki, Hawaii. While the family members prepared to have a grand funeral for the doting mother and wife, Duane relayed that his wife had one wish before she died.
During a chat with Entertainment Tonights Kevin Frazier, Duane said Beth wanted her body cremated. The late star asked her husband to scatter some of her ashes and leave some on the fireplace, but the idea did not sit well with him.
Duane was told as a child that anyone who got burned after death would never rise from the grave with Jesus, but Beth believed the saying, “from ashes to ashes and dust to dust.”
The bounty hunter fulfilled part of his late wifes wish by cremating her body. However, he revealed that he could not scatter her ashes. Duane said,

Duane thought of the best way to remain closer to his late wife. He decided to leave her ashes in a pink box next to his bed, where he thought would probably stay forever.
Beths funeral was held on a Saturday afternoon on July 13, 2019, at the Heritage Christian Centre in Aurora, Colorado. It was also broadcasted on WGNAmerica.com and the “Dogs Most Wanted” Facebook Page.
Two months after Beths death, her memories still lived in Duanes heart. He had a conversation with People and mentioned that he was open to love but had no intentions of getting married again.Read also
Duane said he would never take Beth off his chest, and he would never get married again. However, it appears that the TV personality is going back on his words as he recently announced he was getting married to his girlfriend, Francie Frane.
The reality star made the surprising revelation during an episode of the “Two Guys From Hollywood” podcast. After making the announcement, Duane said he felt bad about wanting to get married after Beths death.
But after taking a look at the book of Genesis in the bible, He found out that God does not want a man to be alone. According to Duane, God knew everyone needed a companion.
Duane found a great companion in Frane, who lost her husband, Bob, to cancer, shortly before Beths death. The pair have picked out a venue, and fans of the reality star cannot wait to see how glamorous the big day would be.
