Hamilton Animal Services and Ren’s Pets wish to encourage dog and cat owners to licence and register their pets.
Pet owners can purchase or renew their licence online at hamilton.ca/doglicence or by calling 905-574-3433.
“Partnerships like this with Ren’s Pets help generate additional non-tax levy related revenue streams,” said Brian MacDonald, Manager, Strategic Partnerships.
“Proper and efficient identification of pets is a core method for protecting their welfare and that’s why we strongly encourage all pet owners in Hamilton to license their pet with Hamilton Animal Services,” said Monica Ciriello, Director of Licensing and By-law Services. “In the event of an emergency, the ability to contact a pet’s owner is crucial and could save its life.”
Registering your pet or renewing an existing license is one of the more tedious and costly yearly chores that Hamilton pet owners would like to avoid. Especially if you live in a multi-pet household.
“The Strategic Partnerships team helps to develop relationships with the private sector to generate these revenues and are always looking to partner with companies in our community. Thank you, Ren’s Pets, for your partnership with Hamilton Animal Services’ licensing program.”
