Can Cats Go Upstairs Sims 4

They can feed themselves (provided there is food available), use a litter box, and sleep on pet beds without the help of a Sim or their mother. Kittens can also learn behaviors. However, they cannot go up or down stairs without the help of a Sim and they cannot get jobs or learn commands.

There are steps attached to a porch in front of the door and I have a kitten and it cant get up the stairs and get into the house. Is there anything I can add so the kitten can get up the stairs?

My only side query is did they used to be able to climb the stairs? Because there are both accounts and pictures of them going upstairs?

This morning I was rather bemused when I had a pre-teen pet 2 dogs to fill the happiness bars and both dogs came to him on the first floor instead of him going downstairs to them

I took out the elevator I had in my one house as my sims could never use it because the dragons were always using it. I love how the Dragons glide down the stairs.

Post by xjuelx » 08 Mar 2015, 11:02 Ive never noticed my dogs upstairs, but I dont think Ive ever tried having a preteen call them from upstairs either. My cats wander upstairs by themselves all the time though. Ive read from others that theyre able to use the elevators also, but I only have one that leads from the second story to third, so Ive never seen mine use it.

Called to be pet, called to a toy, or called to their food/water bowl. As for cats, its been awhile since Ive seen my cats go to a second or third floor. Can animals climb stairs Sims 4?

Toddlers, dogs, and cats can’t use ladders; nor can an older humanoid Sim carry them up ladders. Bear this in mind when building areas that can only be accessed via ladder (though, if your Sim is looking for some breathing space from their pets and/or younger kids, this might be considered a feature rather than a bug).

It has been confirmed puppies and kitties can’t go upstairs, there is an option to carry them, if you don’t have that option try repairing your game and playing without mods.
