This recall was isolated to our Lexington, KY, manufacturing facility, and does not impact our other peanut butter-producing facilities. In addition, there is no impact to Smucker’s Uncrustables, Santa Cruz Organic, Laura Scudder’s, Adam’s, Smucker’s Natural, Smucker’s Goober or any other J.M. Smucker Co. brand. While our other peanut butter-producing facilities and brands were not impacted, we will take learnings from this event and apply them across our manufacturing facilities, as appropriate.

For example, the brand has long partnered with The National Peanut Board, supporting peanut research and education initiatives. Part of their work focuses on peanut allergy awareness and education, including resources for parents, educators and anyone who cares for children.

Jif® peanut butter with omega-3 DHA & EPA uses an encapsulated fish oil source that contains both EPA and DHA. The encapsulation process keeps the DHA/EPA locked in, while keeping the smell and taste of fish out of the peanut butter.
