Shake Shack is another chain that loves our pups too, and that’s why they have a special menu for dogs that includes not only a Bag O’ Bones, but also a Pooch-ini. The Bag O’ Bones is exactly what it sounds like, a bag filled with five dog biscuits that were made for the company. And the Pooch-ini is a vanilla custard with two dog biscuits. The custard cup is not recommended for smaller pups, and as with anything you give your dog it is always good to make sure it’s okay from a veterinarian first.

In ‘N’ Out lovers, did you know you could get a Pup Patty for your pooch? Well you can, and it isn’t loaded with things your dog can’t have. Instead, the Pup Patty is a plain burger patty that has no salt added to it. And it comes in a bag just for your dog, which gives a whole new meaning to the term doggy bag.

At Dairy Queen, you can order your dog a Pup Cup, which is simply a cup of vanilla soft serve that is topped off with a dog treat. We definitely think you should make sure it is okay with a vet first, as this the company’s regular soft serve ice cream (which means dairy and sugar are some of the main ingredients).

There are a lot of places trying to cater to the dog lovers of the world, and thanks to dog friendly patios and pop up shops for pups, there are a lot more options when you want to enjoy a nice day out with your canine companion. But thanks to some big chains, you can still treat your pup right with their secret menus.

But rather than find the safest thing on the human menu at some major restaurants, it may be time to learn about some secret menus that are all about the dogs. From Starbucks (which many of us knew about already) to Dairy Queen, there are some surprisingly dog friendly restaurants, even if you can’t bring your pup inside with you to enjoy their treats.

In fact, these nine restaurants offer everything from sweet biscuit treats to canine-friendly hamburger patties. Next time you visit one of the following chains, you can pick up something for your canine companion as well.

Note: While these are treats created for your pet, they should be consumed in moderation. Some of these items include dairy, sugar, or fat which can cause stomach aches or weight gain. While it is OK for dogs to have a little milk, owners should be cognizant of the symptoms of lactose intolerance.

This chain started out as a hot dog vendor in the middle of New York’s Madison Square Park, which includes a well-visited dog hangout for furry friends. In honor of its roots, this chain features a “For Dogs” menu on their website, but when visiting, ask for a Pooch-ini. This small dessert includes dog biscuits and vanilla custard. Owners can also pick up a Bag O’ Bones which is a bag of five dog biscuits made by New York’s Bocce’s Bakery. “Shake Shack’s dog menu is available at all Shake Shacks except stadiums, ballparks, airports, and international outposts,” the company’s website states.

Pupcakes, made out of sugar, egg whites, and buttermilk, also come in a sugar-free version. These small cupcakes are topped with yogurt frosting.
