Dog Bodysuit After Surgery

Press studs / snaps for good fit

It is very difficult for the dog to open the Recovery Suit® because the closure is on the back. However, it is quick, safe and easy for the owner or veterinarian to put on and off the shirt. We advise to close all press studs/snaps to keep the shirt perfectly in place.

There’s also a single teal colored snap, so you can quickly see that this is an original Suitical product!

The Suitical logo is always on the left side of the Recovery Suit® near the shoulder area.

The washing label has an integrated Suitical hologram. Without the logo and the hologram, it is not an original, official product of Suitical International.

There’s also a single teal colored snap, so you can quickly see that this is an original Suitical product!

FAQ

Do surgical suits work for dogs?

It is essential to protect the surgical area for a fast recovery, but the traditional Elizabethan collar causes stress for pets. That is why Suitical has developed a pet friendly alternative: The Recovery Suit®. The Recovery Suit® is a professional alternative for the medical cone and/or full body bandage.

How long should dog wear Recovery Suit after spay?

After your dog or cat has had surgery (no matter how old or young they are) you MUST keep them restricted for fourteen days.

Can I put a onesie on my dog after spaying?

Onesies are a great option for keeping your pet’s wounds covered. They are an inexpensive, adorable way to keep your pet’s wounds safe after surgery.

How do dogs pee in a surgical onesie?

A: After Surgery Wear has a cut in the back to allow most female animals to urinate/excrete without removing the product. It is recommended to perform a visual check upon applying the product to ensure your pet can safely urinate with the product on.
