My vet first prescribed this as I noticed my older cat had a bald spot that was growing larger. He said it was dermatitis and prescribed this ointment. Within 3 days it was gone, but at times does reappear. The hair starts to grow back. But hes 13 and we live in the desert so dry conditions do not help. I noticed it was available on Chewy and refilled it as the tube is a metal tube and split in the middle after using it for awhile. Best to squeeze from the bottom and store in a small zip lock bag.
