The first project we tackled was to remove the red carpeting in the dining/family room because we suspected that was the source of the musty dog smell. It’s a simple way to help cut down on doggy odor. Also, sprinkle baking soda on the carpets and let it sit overnight to absorb odors, than vacuum it up the next day.
